In the Sprouts program, students learn about nutrition and healthy food choices through hands-on cooking activities.

A Typical Sprouts Cooking Class:

  • Students participate in all aspects of cooking
  • Recipes feature fresh, local and seasonal foods
  • Students prepare enough food for the school to serve as a snack the following day and for the students to take home samples
